About transactions

A transaction is any type of financial activity that is related to an account. There are many different types of transactions, which are generated from events like:

• Purchases;

• Withdrawals;
• Payments;
• Adjustments;
• Disputes;
• Fees;
• Charges;
• Services;
• Recurring debit;
• Transferences.

Transactions are vital for any issuer to build their accounting structure and anything that is to be posted in their cardholder’s statement.

To get to know more about transactions, see the examples of accounting flow by type of transaction.

On the Dock platform, you can set parameters for transactions that must be generated from each event. You can also set parameters for transaction that will be shown in the statement for the cardholder.
