Cash withdrawal at POS

The Dock platform enables cash withdrawal at POSPOS - Equipment used by commercial establishments for reading a card and making a transaction. It can be leased or sold.. By offering this feature to the cardholder, the issuer provides the convenience of withdrawing cash during card purchases at merchants. This is an alternative to get cash without having to go to the bank or ATM, which may charge a fee per withdrawal.

In addition to convenience, savings and more security to the cardholder, the cash withdrawal at POS also provides security and savings to the merchants, and avoids the cost of cash handling.

With the continuous transformation of the payment industry, initiatives have also emerged to improve the experience in carrying out transactions involving the cash withdrawal at POS, such as PIX enabling the withdrawal in stores or supermarkets.

Another point to highlight is that digital banks have limited options for cash withdrawals compared to traditional banks, which have a direct connection to ATMs. Now they see the cash withdrawal at POS as an opportunity to fulfill this gap.
